Fortified Beanie: The Crowned Collection
Fortified Beanie: The Crowned Collection
Designed by Jeananne Atthowe
They built stronger and stronger castles, fortified to keep out any threat from civil unrest - the world was changing. One such castle found on the island of Funen, Denmark was Egeskov. This water castle features a thick double wall, round corner towers, and secret staircases… shhhh… don’t tell anyone. Both inside and outside, Egeskov is rich in texture and multiple design aesthetics bridging two eras: Late Gothic and Renaissance.
