While our existing team and partnerships are diverse in many ways, we can do better. As we continue to grow and offer opportunities, we are committed to:

• Actively reaching out to new partners, makers, freelancers, and models to expand the range of voices and representation in our photography, interviews, patterns, and collaborations.

• Holding ourselves accountable when we make a mistake by apologizing and taking actions to ensure that the mistake is not repeated.

• Cultivating education on equity, privilege, discrimination, and anti-racism work by providing resources to our team members and community.

• Listening to learn, not respond; practicing curiosity.

As a team we also recognize that creating a business that lives up to our values is an ongoing process; it does not stop with a blog post, a book, or a course. Practicing our values requires deliberate, intentional action. We choose to take action by:

• Voting!

• Learning from leaders who have lived experience and paying anti-racism educators for their work.

• Amplifying the teachings of thought leaders, activists, and educators on social media and in our newsletters.

• Investing in makers of color monetarily through wholesale and retail relationships.

• Supporting and advocating for mental health care.
